Raygen has been through 2 open heart surgeries, a tracheotomy, a dencanulation, 2 heart caths, stent placed, numerous iv's, pic lines, blood draws, x rays, echo's, ekg's, g tube placement and so much more. She is almost 1 and wow what a year she has lived. I am so grateful for her strength and determination to live. She has opened our eyes to a world we would never have saw. She has encouraged us to live in the moment and enjoy every single second we have with her and her big sister. We do not know how many tomorrow's we have with anyone but it's scariest when you know you are not guaranteed any especially with a special heart. Raygen has one more open heart surgery to go and till then we are going to live, laugh, enjoy, and cherish every single second of every single day with our miracle. God is good.

God has given you Raygen so you could be an encouragement to other families and point them to Jesus. Our little church in Azalea, OR has been praying for this precious child since day one! Thank you for your blogspot where we can keep in touch with how she is doing. We will keep praying. (We learned of Raygen through our daughter-in-law who learned through her friend). God is good...all the time!
ReplyDeleteHi there. I just found your blog thru Pinterest and wanted to tell you that I will pray for your family and for baby Raygen. You're so blessed to have such a little fighter. She and her big sister are beautiful and I wish you all continued good health and happiness. : )

I am a NICU nurse who loves my CHD babies. I also have a daughter names Raegen. I saw your baby on Pintrest and fell in love. I am familiar with your path that you are travelling. Prayers for your entire family as you all walk this journey together!
