How many babies are born each year with a complex/potentially life-threatening CHD? Approximately 25% of babies born with CHD each year require invasive or other potentially life-saving diagnosis or treatment.
Raygen is only 1% of that 25% that required invasive life-saving surgery. Raygen had her first operation at 6 days old and her second at 7 months. So her first birthday was a very big deal for us. Here is a flash back picture of that wonderful day. I can not believe this year our girl will be 5.
