There is nothing like riding the carousel at the beach. My girls love it. We rode it at least a dozen times this trip. I was really excited to see that Raygen had fun on it. She was a little nervous at first but by the end of the trip she was crying when it was time to get off, just like any normal two year old. I love those moments of "normal."
Between a ride we found this fun little glow stick for her in one of the shops. It has become a favorite especially when it's dark. Raygen did so great on this trip. We were all so proud of her. It is still so nerve wracking to take her out in public and expose her to all the unknowns, but I want her to live as normal as a life as possible, to be honest I want us all too. Sometimes the risk of letting her have fun out weighs all the "ifs" and "buts" that we have no control over.
We had to have one last ride before we hit the road on Saturday. It was a bittersweet moment. So happy we had such a great time, but sad that it was over.
Here was Raygen and I last year on the carousel. She has sure changed, hasn't she?
Beach pictures to come tomorrow. Lets just say Raygen takes after Zoie. She is a total water dog.
