Raygen's 1st Tree

Raygen trying some apple juice.  She still doesn't suck on the bottle she mostly just bites the nipple, but at least she is getting a little to drink.  It's a start.
I love how she crosses her legs when she is relaxed.  She does it all the time.  It's just so cute.
Zoie wanted to hang lights going up our stairs and she did a great job.  She is so independent now, has to do everything by herself.  Raygen loved them and loved to check them out.

Zoie decorating Raygen's 1st tree.  She did great.  I think next year I can leave it all up to her, lol!
Our tree is 90% Disney ornaments.  Every year my mom buys all of a ornament and it's always my favorite present and here are a couple of my favorites.  I just love them, Hallmark has great ornaments.

I think Miss Raygen may need a haircut soon, but I just can't get myself to do it.

We had a great weekend.  Our house finally feels like Christmas and Raygen is loving all the lights.  This week we have Zoie's Holiday program and lots of cooking and crafting to do.  I am finally in the Christmas spirit.  With that little face how could you not?  We have so much to be thankful for this year and I am so excited to share Raygen's 1st Christmas with my family.  Yes technically this is Raygen's 2nd Christmas, but a Christmas in the hospital recovering from open heart surgery doesn't count.

From Kelly's Korner:
On Tuesday, December 18th, there will be a blogger day of silence. We will post the button and that's it. Please try to not post anything else that day if possible.

We are also raising money that will go to an organization in the memory of this tragedy. The organization is called The Newtown Family Youth and Family Services. Here is the official description of the support service we are donating to:

"Newtown Youth and Family Services, Inc. is a licensed, non-profit, mental health clinic and youth services bureau dedicated to helping children and families achieve their highest potential. NYFS provides programs, services, activities, counseling, support groups and education throughout the Greater Newtown area.

ANY DONATIONS MADE TO NEWTOWN YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES WILL BE DONATED DIRECTLY TO THOSE EFFECTED BY THE SANDY HOOK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SHOOTING."
