Raygen has tonsillitis :(

This girl likes her tv, way too much, but 

what makes her happy we do.  I think she deserves it. 

We have noticed that Raygen has been sounding very froggy at night and then yesterday it was all day.  Her sounds changed.  I could tell a difference in her breathing and she seemed a little fussy and needy.  The last couple nights she was very froggy sleeping at night and then when would sound clear all day, but yesterday she really made me nervous. 

We took her in to see Dr. Polley last night and she said her tonsills were very big and icky looking.  They tested her for strep, which was negative, thank God.  Dr Polley gave Raygen a dose of a steroid that would open her airway and help her breathe better and then she will take it 2 times a day for 2 days.  She still sounds froggy today, but hopefully we will see improvement by tomorrow. 

This makes me nervous because Raygen already has a small airway due to her vocal cord being paralyzed so anything else just makes it more scary.   

You can see in her eyes she wasn't feeling good. 

Please say a little prayer for our girl.  That she starts to feel better and that her tonsills heal quickly.  Please pray that she can start to breathe easier. 

Zoie had her flu shot today for her sister.  She is one awesome big sister.
